Graphic Design Studio Manager  

 

to lead our in-house creative team. You are a leader with a passion for design, a keen eye for detail and a track record of delivering high-quality creative projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our in-house design studio. You will lead a team of talented designers, ensuring high-quality, innovative design work that aligns with our brand identity and business objectives. 

 

 

What is your role?  

Your specific tasks include:   

 

The Graphic Design Studio Manager oversees the design and production of graphic art and visual materials across various mediums such as print, events, and digital media. This role is pivotal in maintaining corporate branding guidelines and ensuring the visual and sonic identity of the brand are consistently reflected in all materials produced. Based in The Netherlands, you will lead a team of Graphic Designers located in Poland and a Packaging and Labelling coordinator located in The Netherlands.  

  • Corporate Branding and Visual Identity: Uphold corporate branding guidelines and ensure all design work aligns with the visual and sonic identity of the brand. 
  • Packaging and Labelling Design: Take charge of the design process for all packaging and labelling requirements for Kramp Group. 
  • Collaboration and Idea Generation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, contributing design ideas and decisions to support brand positioning and plans. 
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, acting as a business partner to understand their needs and deploy appropriate resources for project delivery. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Graphic Designers, Project Coordinators, and Packaging & Labelling Coordinators, as well as external creative agencies. Support your team members in delivering to expected standards, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and identifying development needs. 
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to individuals across the organization to improve performance and enable personal growth in graphic design expertise. 
  • Project Management: Oversee the delivery of small to medium-scale projects, ensuring adherence to established program management plans. 

 

You will play a crucial role in maintaining brand consistency and driving visual excellence across all materials produced, while also fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within the design team.

The Digital Marketing & Brand team supports the clusters with overall Kramp brand strategy and guidelines and moreover, toolkits in which they can find campaigns, content and footage to use when and if applicable.  The Digital Marketing & Brand department consists of four pillars:  

  • Brand & Campaign: creating the Kramp Brand strategy, setting up guidelines, developing campaigns, organizing events and facilitating Supplier marketing 

  • Content: creating digital and offline content, responsible for the Knowledge Center  

  • Design: Responsible for Corporate identity, packaging and labeling and designing and photography  

  • Marketing Performance: SEA, Customer Journey, email & automation, performance analysis 

 
Your team consists of Graphic Designers, Production coordinators, Packaging and Labelling Specialist. 
 

Who are you?  

For this job we have a couple of requirements:   

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level of Work Experience 

  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a focus on branding and visual identity. 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport with internal clients and external partners. 

  • Proficiency in project management, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively. 

  • Experience in packaging and labelling design is desirable. 

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. 

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas. 

  • Familiarity with relevant design software and tools.
