What is your role?

As Warehouse Product Owner you will define the product strategy roadmap for the next 1 to 10 years. You will be solely responsible for gathering all requirements and analysis for warehousing solutions while successfully implementing the change across the entire network.

Your specific tasks include:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including operations, supply chain engineering, IT, Product Owners and Project managers to define and prioritize product goals, objectives, and requirements.
  • Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and multi quarter OKR roadmap that aligns with the overall warehouse and company objectives.
  • Gather and analyze user needs and business requirements to define detailed specifications for warehouse products and processes.

Planning & Execution:

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with product development and implementation. Proactively address issues and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions to warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with operations and training teams to facilitate smooth product adoption, including creating Job instructions/Address user concerns and issues, providing timely solutions and support.
  • Engage with external vendors and suppliers to evaluate third-party solutions and technologies that align with the warehouse product strategy.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service-level agreements

Your team

You will be part of a newly formed team within Kramp called Supply Chain Development & Excellence. The team consists of the Supply Chain Engineering Team, Program Management (working on large capex warehouse projects) and the Supply Chain Product Team. This role will be part of the supply chain product team which consists of a Business Analyst, a WMS expert and Product Owners across Transport & Distribution and Order Orchestration. 

The team is led by Jonathan Pitcher. The teammembers are based across different locations in Europe. However, there is frequent meetings together in Varsseveld or Utrecht (or the location where a project is taking place).

Who are you?

For this job we have a couple of requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product management within warehousing, logistics, or supply chain environments. Preferably in an Ecommerce / wholesaling / FMCG company.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, processes, and technologies
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and knowledge of using JIRA, Confluence, BlueDolphin, MIRO etc).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving orientation with a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel to other warehouses of Kramp
  • You live in the Netherlands
