We are looking for a   

QA Test Engineer 

who has a solid background in QA/QC/QE and will mainly focus on test automation. 

 

What is your role?  

Your specific tasks include: 

  • Work on projects and assist product teams with all common QA/QC/QE activities related to planning, preparation, execution (manual+automated) and reporting 

  • Create and maintain a test automation strategy and accompanying guidelines that are usable across product teams 

  • Together with your colleagues from the QA team drive quality awareness and maturity within the organization to the next level 

  • Help product teams define, develop and maintain regression test sets at different levels of the application stack that ensure functionality, stability and performance 

  • Continually improve test automation infrastructure and coverage to enhance efficiencies and software quality 

  • Support stakeholders with acceptance testing 

  • You will be involved in the business side of the company to understand better the teams’ and customers’ needs 

Your team 

Kramp's QA/QC team is currently formed by 6 highly motivated and versatile team members from different backgrounds who all share the drive to bring software quality to the next level. Your colleagues work mainly on test management and coordination for projects and they assist product teams with some hands-on test design and execution. They can bring their own ideas and make them happen. Also, they spend time as a team to work on QA/QC/QE related improvements our organization can benefit from based on a holistic software quality perspective. 

Who are you?  

  • Have 6+ years of QA/QC/QE experience with > 3 years in test automation  

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology or something similar 

  • Certified in ISTQB or TMap, at least the foundational level 

  • You have thorough understanding of programming languages, scripting, databases and querying (e.g. Java, JavaScript, SQL) 

  • Knowledge of several services, protocols and messaging 

  • Solid hands-on experience with leading test automation tools for UT/UIT, Contract, API and UI testing, as well as performance testing tools (e.g. xUnit, Postman/Newman, SOAPUI, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, Jmeter and Gatling) 

  • Experience with BDD, TDD, Agile and DevOps 

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including business and suppliers of varying seniority 

  • Fluent in English 

 

Preferably you also have: 

  • Experience with low code platform OutSystems 

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure and networking components
