Manager Product Quality & Compliance

We are on the look out for a people manager who would like to represent Product Quality & Compliance in- and externally and is ready to guide and grow a relatively new department and team of 3 ambitious colleagues. We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Kramp family!

What is your role?
You will be responsible for ensuring that Kramp is compliant with the required legislation on Quality, Environment, Safety and Health standards in all countries: by means of constantly monitoring product compliance and product quality risks and creating / adapting product quality and product compliance processes.

You will be working closely with your stakeholders: Product Managers and Supplier Managers. The Product Quality and Compliance team supports and improves the compliance work processes and advise the stakeholders if necessary about compliance issues. This means, for example, setting up and executing processes for monthly waste declarations in local countries, managing technical files, processing safety data sheets, etc.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and building the Kramp quality control process.
  • Leading the Product Quality, especially on Private label products and/or products from outside of EU, by implementing validated processes like Audit Management and Quality checks at inbound.
  • Making sure that Product quality&compliance clauses in supplier contracts are correct by advising stakeholders.
  • Leading change management processes contributing to a climate of continuous improvement.

    In this role you will report directly to the Director Procurement.
     

Who are you?

For this job we require the following:

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Law
  • At least 5 years of experience with Product quality procedures and product compliance
  • Strong people management skills
  • Positive and persistent attitude
  • Knowledge about CE / REACH/ CLP legislation  
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
