The Commercial Director Belgium will get full P&L responsibility over the BeLux subsidiary of Kramp. They will lead the team at Kramp Belgium – forming the management team together with the Operational Director and supported by the Finance manager and the HR business partner. Specifically, the Commercial Director will lead a team of six direct reports. The commercial organization at Kramp Belgium consists of 45 employees overall. The Commercial Director reports to the Region Sales Director for Midwest Europe.
The Commercial Director is responsible for growing the Belgian business to a turnover of 100 million euros in 2025. They will do so by providing structured leadership when it comes to all core processes related to online and offline sales, based on a solid grasp of the customer journey and, if needed, a personal approach to key accounts. Of course, the Commercial Director will also heavily focus on coaching and enabling the team. This includes efforts to keep up engagement and happiness, as well as supportive leadership with Kramp Belgium’s digital transformation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales leader with a strong track record in people development, particularly during a transformation phase. The Commercial Director effectively manages several stakeholders and keeps employee satisfaction high, within the context of an international matrix organization undergoing a digital transformation. A candidate who is excited to grow the business by adopting an entrepreneurial approach without sacrificing structure will fit well within Kramp Belgium.
The Commercial Director works in a data-driven manner and shows a strong customer focus. Good knowledge of both Dutch and French are required. Naturally, the candidate has an interest in the relevant industries of agricultural, construction, and forest & grass care parts; though specific expertise in these sectors is not required. The successful candidate for this role does not need to have managed a country organization before, but should be experienced in leading business units. The Commercial Director Belgium will start an exciting new phase in their career, with plenty of room for personal and professional growth.
Who are you?
- At least 10 years of experience in sales;
- Experience in an eCommerce-heavy organizations;
