Transportation & Distribution Manager, Nordic


Kramp is strengthening our Transportation & Distribution team in our Nordic region. You have solid experience with negotiating last-mile-distribution agreements. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to manage an operational team in a large international set-up which will lay down the strategical direction on our growth journey. In the Nordic region we have distribution centers in Skjern, Eslöv, and Paimio. You will be able to organize your working days from our offices in Skjern, Århus or from home.

About the job

Kramp is experiencing an increasing growth and we are now looking for a manager for a newly created position in our department for Transport & Distribution. Our new manager’s role will especially consist of strengthening and supporting the operational team thereby maintaining a stable environment in a dynamic growth process.

You will report directly to Operations Director, Nordic. As a member of our Nordic Operational Leadership Team, you will make sure that we use our size and strengths on a strategical and tactical level to provide competitive solutions in the handling of orders to and from our different facilities and out to the customer.

To succeed in the position as Transportation & Distribution Manager, it is important that you have experience and an overall understanding of the processes in end-to-end Supply Chain Management.

Your background

You have several years of experience with similar responsibilities preferably obtained from a larger logistics or production company where cooperation with external transporters have been essential.

You are educated within freight forwarding and it will be an advantage if you have an additional degree within strategy and management. Also, you have an interest in developing your skills and competencies even further. Many of your responsibilities will consist of contact with our international stakeholders, as well as, daily contact with our Kramp logistic facilities. Hence, you are an effective communicator and is fluent verbally and written in English. As you will be working frequently across of our Nordic region it will be an advantage to have a general understanding of the Nordic languages.
