Product Group Manager Construction
To support the further development of our focus on the Construction market, and as result of ongoing international growth, we are looking for a Product Group Manager.
As a Product Group Manager, you are responsible to manage, further develop and optimize a global profitable assortment for the Product Group ’Construction’ and manage the projects within.
The assortment will consist of strong OE and A-brands, as well as Kramp private brands.
Product ranges in this market are, for example, original spare parts & accessories for Construction machinery and related universal wearing parts. (Construction machinery like wheel loaders, excavators, dumpers, lifting equipment, etc.)
What is your role?
You manage and develop the relations with your allocated suppliers and negotiate with them the most favourable purchase conditions.
The overall Management of the allocated Product Groups and Suppliers enables Kramp to be a partner for both suppliers and customers.
You give input to the overall Category Business Plan and report to the Category Manager.
Who are you?
We’re looking for an experienced Product Group Manager.
- Bachelor+ or Master degree in a commercial or technical area
- 10 years of experience in the Construction Machinery market and Product Groups.
- Good Networking skills (Established Network in the Construction Market is an advantage)
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, markets and Product/Market Combinations
- Good Negotiating skills
- Good Project Management skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willing to travel
- Preferably based in Kramp headquarters (Varsseveld, The Netherlands), otherwise in Strullendorf (Germany) or Poitiers (France).
You are strong Business Oriented and have a Commercial focus. You are good in negotiating, strong Persuasiveness and in Planning and Organizing. Networking is also one of your natural habits.
